I think, it’s a privilege for me to be in this adventure of felt, which has a heritage in ancient Turkish history since 3.000 B.C.
Felt is the oldest textile product in the world.
A large variety of products like tents, rugs, pillow covers, hats, bags and accessories are made of felt. It’s a miraculous material with its several benefits such as; stabilizing the static electricity of body, keeping safe from insects, keeping safe from radiation and available for four seasons-usage as being thermal.
Felt is made up of pure olive oil soap, water, wool and -a bit of- human effort.
It may sometimes covers your neck down to your chest as a shawl, sometimes completes your elegance in the form of a hat or a bag, sometimes keeps you warm as a pair of shoes or as coat/jacket.
I wish these beauties of nature, put together with handcraft, great effort and love; may reach as many as people…
